HOW AND WHERE
We had a phone chat with Abe, where we got to know each other better and discussed various options for the shoot. We talked about studio possibilities as well as photographing on location, exploring what those locations could look like.
We also discussed styling and the types of looks he prefers to wear, staying true to his personal style. To ensure I understood his vision, we decided on a documentary portrait vibe that would capture him authentically.
After sharing the cost details and outlining what would be delivered as part of the project, he was happy to sign off. Styling played a crucial role in this process. Abe definitely has his own unique flair, which became clear from our conversation and the research I did. It felt as though the styling was his way of using props, adding another layer of personality to the shoot.
END RESULT
Our aim was to capture more than just one aspect of Abe’s personality, curating a diverse body of images that showcase him in several different lights. We aimed to capture moments where he appears as he knows himself, while also exploring moments where he can be something new—authentic, dynamic, and full of possibility.
These images will serve as visual assets for his promotional work, career portfolio, and agency representation. They will reflect the multifaceted nature of Abe, showcasing his true essence and versatility in a way that resonates across various professional platforms.
